Crosstown Traffic Band Curaçao Celebrates 56 Years with “Back to the Groove” Party – July 12 at The Niffo Huts, Boca Sami.

WILLEMSTAD, CURAÇAO — Get ready to crank up the classics and hit the dance floor—Crosstown Traffic Band Curaçao is celebrating 56 years of delivering pure, live rock and soul with a no-holds-barred anniversary bash. The “Back to the Groove Party” goes down on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 8:00 PM to midnight at The Niffo Huts Curaçao in Boca Sami.

This iconic Curaçaoan band will bring the heat with a tight setlist of legendary hits from the ’70s and ’80s, including covers of Carlos Santana, The O’Jays, Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, The Doobie Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Isley Brothers.

The night will feature a full-force lineup led by frontman Farley Lourens, with featured vocalists Merietza Haakmat, Andrey Pichardo (also on lead guitar), and Clemson. The band is backed by seasoned musicians: Papi Jansen (guitar), Ike Jesurun (keyboard), Beppo Delfina (drums), Tito (congas), Reggie “Tiburon” (bass).

“This is more than a show—it’s a celebration of music that moves people,” says Farley Lourens. “We’re taking it back to the roots, where it all began, with nothing but groove, soul, and rock.”
